I am a junior visual journalism major at Biola and the Biola Odyssey editor-in-chief. Writing is definitely my passion — I live and breathe to creatively construct simple letters and sentences into stories that glorify God and his creation.
As a writer for the student newspaper, the Chimes, I have freelanced for the news and sports sections, been the features apprentice, and served as the features staff writer. In addition, I worked for Sonoma Christian Home Magazine as an editorial intern and am currently on the Point Magazine staff as a copy editor. I also have taken photojournalism and design courses, possessing those as supplementary skills.
Outside of journalism, I am a member of the Symphonic Winds and play the flute, but I also taught myself piano and guitar. I enjoy writing about sports, features, people, my faith, life experiences, travel, food, music, and art.
My Myers Briggs personality type is INFJ,so I'm defeinitely an introvert, yet I love talking with others around me and having meaningful conversations.
