Jeffrey Martin

I am a 19 year old from New Jersey who wants to make some kind of impact on the world. I have always been a gifted writer, and I feel that writing is an important way for writers to express their viewpoints as well as spread information to a large number of people. As a college student, I often feel that my opinions, no matter how well-constructed they are, are overlooked simply because of my age. However, I recognize that not all writing is opinion pieces. I still consider the written word to be a valuable tool for the general public to become informed, and I would like to add my name to the long list of people who have made a difference through their writing. With The Odyssey, I would like to apply my aptitude for writing and my passion for politics and history.
