James Berry

I was born and raised in New York City, where I went to school until I was 13 until I was shipped off to boarding school in Connecticut. I then moved out to California to go to school in the Bay Area, transferring a few years later to Sarah Lawrence College where I graduated in 2016.

I have been writing for myself since I was 19 and many of my stories fall under the fantastic genre, although I write a lot of poetry and true fiction as well.

My favorite book (and author) is American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I love to read comic books, Planetary is probably my favorite.

I am currently working on a collection of short stories, a pilot for a tv-show and a screenplay.

I also love sports and have played for my whole life. When I am not writing I work as an assistant soccer coach at Sarah Lawrence.
