Ismail Abu Hayyeh

I was born and raised in Chicago, and love to listen to all kinds of music. I adore theater, and especially admire musicals (Hamilton is my all time favorite). I am the co-author of the book 111th and Roberts: Where Our Stories Intersect, which I wrote along with a few other classmates. I currently am writing my own novel about love that could never last, wars that were never won, diseases and a doctor who cured them all, and triumph in the face of adversity.
