Holly Renee

This is my story, I was born on April 24th 1994 as a adorable pink baby girl with red hair and one hand. I was named Holly Renee by my parents and I love my name so much I wouldn't have it any other way. I especially like my middle name Renee because it means reborn which I believe I have been. I went through so much when my stomach condition, gastroparesis, suddenly took a turn for the worst and I was so sick every day I had drop out of DCAD to undergo a long two year process of getting better which included lots of medicine, hospital stays, and even surgery. During that time when I was sick my life was basically on pause and for awhile felt like a slow painful death. However, after two years not only did I start feeling better and eating better, I felt like a brand new me. I had a new outlook on life because I felt like if I could survive this I could do anything I put my mind to. That is how I got where I am today, back in DCAD trying my best in a new major and making lots of good friends along the way!
