Haylee Alexis Pearce

Hello! My name is Haylee Alexis Pearce and I am 20 years old. I am a first generation college student at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. I am striving to achieve an education in order to better myself and help others. My ultimate goal is to help the mentally ill

by obtaining a degree in Psychology.

I love to read and write and wish to use my creativity to spread domestic violence awareness and also spread my ideas to get my voice heard outside of my small town. I am extremely driven and academics are very important to me because I believe education is the way to succeed at achieving my goals. My favorite authors are Stephen King and Jodi Picoult... quite a range, I know! I absolutely love music as well. My favorite band is Timeflies and I often listen to 90's Alternative such as that of Nirvana and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Fun Fact!: I have two tattoos... one on my right ankle of a mother holding her daughter and the other across my left foot that says "This too shall pass" with a bird at the end. I have been through a lot of pain throughout my life always goes on and karma is very real. Whenever I dispair, I look down at my tattoo and it reminds me to look back up.

As far as my personality goes, I prefer to listen more than I speak because we were given two ears and one mouth for a reason. When I do speak however, I speak my mind. Regardless, I am outgoing because I love to get to know other people, have a good time, and live my life!
