Hannah Burney

My name is Hannah Burney. I am a 21 year old senior who is majoring in Media Studies with a Journalism emphasis and a minor in History. I have always enjoyed writing, and when I discovered the world of journalism through a feature writing class at my school, I absolutely fell in love with it, and decided it had to be my major! I have many hobbies, which include playing classical piano, writing, photography, cooking, reading, and hiking. I am an introvert who thrives the most when around my closest friends and family. I would love to be a part of the Odyssey Online because one of my goals for my future in journalism is to make a difference in the world. In working with the Odyssey, I would be able to express my voice on issues that are important to me and my generation. I want to have a positive influence in the world, and make an impact. I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to share my thoughts and my writing with a larger audience in order to encourage others and make that impact. I see the Odyssey as being a way to do this, as well as a way to broaden my experiences in the world of media and journalism.
