Without making a major production of my "biography" I'll try to keep it short and simple. Ive been on my own since 17. Got married young, had kids young. I've dealt with everything from toxic family, to drug addiction (not my own), almost losing a child, dyfunctional family, mental illness, having special needs children. I was mostly raised by my grandparents, for whom I was the primary caretaker in the last of their years. My mother passed away at the young age of 60 and I haven't seen my father for over 10 years. Once the kids were old enough to fend for themselves and my grandparents had both passed, I decided that I was going to "fix" my broken life, and registered for college - which quickly became an addiction for me. I now have 3 semesters left for my MBA, I'm a volunteer for several homeless organizations, and work full time in international sales for a major high end acoustic guitar manufacturer. I hope, through my stories, I can help the younger generation make sense of their own lives and learn through both the good and bad experiences of my life and be able to see both the good and the bad. I write so you can experience something you never did or learn how to deal with new experiences that throw you off track, as well gain insight to what its like smack dab in the middle of them. HAPPY READING!
