I've always grown up in cornfields in Illinois. I've had a pretty hectic nineteen years, with my father dying from cancer, five years of ruthless bullying, and two years of an internally inflamed appendix that could not be found.
For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for writing. I would wake up on Saturday mornings and write an essay on George Washington instead of watching cartoons. I am attending North Central College in Naperville to major in Journalism and minor in Anthropology. My dream job would to be traveling around the world on digs, then writing about my experiences.
I am honored to be writing for the Odyssey and I hope you all enjoy my articles!
