Erika Soderstrom

I am inspired by the power of journalism. I think if done well journalism can change the way people think. Thought my life I have had events happen to me that were out my control, as a result my outlet became journalism. To be able to learn about information you wouldn't otherwise know and in turn teach this information to your audience is a wonderful privilege. My goal is to become a journalist that challenges people to view the world differently. Having the opportunity to write for The Odyssey would help me to expand knowledge of journalism and I would have the opportunity to share some of my interests and viewpoints with the readers.
