Emily Ruffing

My name is Emily Ruffing. I am 18 years old. I am engaged to a soldier in the US Army National Guard who is deployed overseas. I am currently studying to become a RVT, also known as a "Registered Veterinary Technician," but I find writing and journaling to be enjoyable and a way to reach out to others who are in the same situations I am in. I feel that writing for The Odyssey Online will help me connect with other MILSO's out there who need to know that they are not alone, or even if you aren't a MILSO that you aren't alone either. Getting my thoughts out on paper (or in this case, on my MacBook) is therapeutic and will help me get through tough times or even when I just have advice to give that I think others might enjoy!
