Delcia Crosby

My name is Delcia Crosby. I am 20 years old. I grew up in Sandy, Utah and moved to Virginia in August of 2016 where I currently attend Southern Virginia University. I have many siblings in a variety of different capacities, but to keep matters simple, we will just say I have two brothers and four sisters. I am the third.

I have had a tough life that includes, but is not limited to foster care, adoption, brain surgery, and seemingly never-ending health conditions, but I push it through and I do my best to not focus on myself, but to focus on others. I make friends with them and help them laugh. I believe laughter is the best medicine for everything :)

I am a musician who plays many instruments such as piano, organ, viola, and some guitar and ukulele and I want to learn more. I also love to sing but I can't say I have the best solo voice. I stick to small groups and bedroom singing.

During my college years, I plan to major in Family and Child Development, which is the only major that has all classes I am interested in and none that I don't want to take. I have a passion for this field of science and I want to learn all I can so I can someday raise my own family to be as successful and happy as we possibly can.
