Dayana Aleksandrova

Born in Bulgaria, I started traveling solo when I was 16. My first trip ever was as an exchange student in New Hampshire, where I had won a full scholarship to spend a year in a private school on an ashram (totally random placement, taught me lots of valuable lessons).

Instead of returning to Bulgaria after the year, I stayed and graduated, attending Trinity College on another full scholarship. Over the course of this time, I worked up to 4 jobs at once to be able to travel through Europe and the States. In 2016 I set out to Asia, intending to teach English in Indonesia. Although a photography paradise, it wasn't for me, so I returned to Barcelona which I had fallen head over heels for one summer.

I currently live in Spain and work as a freelance contributor to Matador Network, Elite Daily and other publications, while attending a 9 to 5 job at a startup. Drop me a line, I'd love to get to know you guys.
