Claire Moore

I have always loved writing and it's one of the few things I think I am decent at. I am also in love with our world. I love travel and I love trying to make the world a better place. I read so many travel blogs but the one thing that is missing is people combining school with travel which is something I have figured out a little about. I took a gap year, which is a good way to do it. On my gap year I did so much including volunteering in a girl's orphanage in India for 5 months (it was life changing). Also I'm going to backpack through Europe this Summer. Next year I'll be focusing on weekend trips. I wanna talk about these opportunities and the sacrifices you can make to make these dreams of travel become a reality. I want to inspire students to not put their dreams on hold. I'm also all about traveling where you live and creating a better person where you are. I love the city I'm from, Cincinnati, and I have explored so much and continue to do so. I currently am visiting all the Cincinnati parks in alphabetical order (and taking awesome pics, check them on my instagram clairemoore_) as a part of traveling where I live. I'm all about trying to find local food and I'm vegetarian and part-time vegan, which is something I'd love to explore. I'd also love to talk about social things I care about, such as buying fair trade coffee and where to get it by the university. Mostly, I just want to share what I know and learn alongside others. I'm tired of the same things college students write over and over when I know there are people like me looking for something else. I want to combine this desire for new material with my love of writing.
