Christina Hemphill

My name is Christina Hemphill. I'm a nineteen year old freshman currently attending school here at North Carolina State. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, my experiences have been extremely different growing up then they would have been here, and as a third culture kid, I have a vast knowledge of different cultures, experiences around the world, and a thirst for the unknown. My goals in life largely sum up to exactly this. Yes, I've traveled the world, I've learned different cultures, met with different people, experienced different things. But I want more; I want to be constantly on the go, whether within a city or within cities, I want to be forever moving, interacting, learning, laughing, loving, and smiling. In addition, I want to share my experiences and my knowledge with others. This is why I want to work as a writer at The Odyssey. As someone with such a large thirst for life, and compassion in their heart to share it, I want to show my experiences to the world. Whether it's to make someone's life easier, teach them a life lesson, or simply write for the joy of entertainment, I want to give this to people.
