Christina Burnley

My name is Christina Burnley, and I am the president of my Best Buddies chapter, overseeing over one hundred participants. I was recognized by the Capital Region for my leadership, and have created the largest chapter in the Capital Region. I am also the vice president and co-founder of an Active Minds chapter in Virginia. I spend a lot of my time working at a part time job as a sales associate in retail for a local boutique. In my free time, I love to travel, and document my adventures through photography. Over the summer I volunteered in Urubamba, Peru for three months for what became an unforgetable and life changing experience. Through writing, I have come to see the true power in sharing experiences, advice, and stories. I want to be a writer on the Odyssey so I can make others laugh, cry, and experience ever human emotion we have the power to express.
