My name is Christian Ianniello and I am a writer living in Chicago. So what? There are millions of writers, what makes me different? I write the truth, well my truth, and I want my audience to see, feel, and understand my truth through my writing. My writing may offend some people, or make them cry out of happiness, but as long as I am making people think, see, and feel, my job is done. I have been writing poetry, short stories, songs, and diary rants, ever since I learned how to use a pencil. I like to write more feature stories, and personal essays, but my first year on staff at The Depaulia, I covered many news stories. As well as writing for the paper, I also took photographs with my Nikon camera. I have a blog called Deep Dish Deeper Conversation, where I share some of my writings I have done in Chicago. I hope to become an author sometime soon and share my stories with the world, while also writing for a paper or magazine. I am a spunky Italian writer looking to share her voice and create meaningful conversations through a medium such as The Odyssey.
