I grew up in a small town in Southern Tennessee before moving to Nashville to attend Lipscomb University for college. I met my husband freshman year after vowing to have no boyfriends until I was a sophomore. That taught me that plans change for the better sometimes. Junior year my academic advisor told me I could graduate with my Master's degree along with my Bachelor's degree if I buckled down. That taught me to take advantage of my opportunities. Senior year I was told by Trevecca University that because my transcripts didn't make it in by the deadline, I would have to apply next year. The next I heard from them was a phone call asking me to come in for an interview. They offered me a seat in their Physician Assistant Program 3 days later. That taught me that God is faithful even when I am untrusting. God is good, all the time.
