If you asked me when I was 17 if I wanted to be a journalist someday, I would have snubbed you in the face. But during my senior year, I decided to try journalism and join our high school newspaper team. I ended up falling in love with the profession. Meeting people. Telling their stories. Exposing the truth. That's what journalism is. I craved crafting a story that people would find interesting enough to read and love. Now I'm attending college, earning a creative writing major and journalism minor, and somehow figuring out what being an "adult" entails. Even though I may seem too busy, I'm always thinking of new stories to be told--to share them with the world so others can understand and relate to those stories.
