Carissa Lynnette

I am from Carthage, North Carolina, which is about 15 minutes from Pinehurst, for the many people who don't know, and I am an Freshman at Catawba College. I am 18 years old, have a wonderful boyfriend, an amazing support system from my friends, and crazy parents. I enjoy laughing, eating, Private Practice, and the 8-Bit, Top Down Video Game, Stardew Valley. Sometimes I have panic attacks if I get too hot in a confined space, and if I drink water I'll get nauseous and most likely gag. I love dogs, horseback riding, and I will most likely annoy you at some point in your life. I have been clinically diagnosed with depression and anxiety, so some of my articles might be a bit on the darker side. I love my friends, especially the ones I'll be going on this four year journey with, Tyler Garner, Cassie James, and David McPherson. I do ask though, that you bear with me through this process, as most of my articles will be a jumbled mess of me trying to figure out how I feel about certain things. Buckle up and hang on for the ride, it's gonna have some potholes.
