Calvin Dutcher

I am involved in several different clubs and organizations on TCU's campus. I truly bleed purple and want to continue to be involved in many ways so I can better the TCU community. Outside of my TCU organizations, I travel across the country for a leadership institute to dedicate my time for training, children's programming, and government advocacy. Also, I coach 3-5 year olds in soccer on the side for Soccer Shots. I want to join the Odyssey writing staff because it is a great way to get involved on campus. I really enjoy writing and have a plethora of topics and ideas to elaborate on. TCU has given me so much and I want to give back to the school and its students. It would mean a lot to be included and involved in an important aspect of campus. Also, an opportunity to be on the writing staff will challenge myself to expand out of my comfort zone and do something I genuinely want to do. I started a blog recently to simply get in the habit of writing again, and this is a great way to continue along the path of voicing interesting ideas, events, passions, and adventures of students.
