Caitlynn Peetz

I am currently a full-time distance education student, and a full-time news reporter at The Daily Republic, a six-day daily newspaper in Mitchell. I absolutely love my job and what I do, but I'm looking for something different -- a new challenge. It's not often in my mainstream news job that I get to produce creative content. It is typically hard news and features -- which, again, is great -- but variety never hurts. This seems like a perfect opportunity to do that, along with being able to flex my editorial muscles to help guide a team of writers at a college that is moving away from liberal arts degrees, but still has and recruits students interested in writing.
