Austin Joseph Vela

Currently I am the Marketing/SEO Intern for Independent Bank Corporation located in Grand Rapids, MI. My dream is to work in creative for a company or ad agency that specializes in new technology and/or environmental products and services.

At Ferris State I have participated in the following organizations: Phi Sigma Kappa, Ad Group, Inter Fraternity Council, and the Leadership Development Program. To give back to the community I support the Special Olympics with my fraternity Phi Sigma Kappa.

I'm a fan of film, music, current events, nature, business, politics and international sports. I enjoy hiking, swimming, fishing. When I travel I have to try a new restaurant to expand my palate and love for food.
