Audrey Louden

Hi! I'm Audrey Louden and I am a senior in high school from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I love the warm weather, the beautiful beaches, breathtaking waterways, and pretty much everything else about the place that I live. I play varsity lacrosse, despite having such bad knees that I have already had four knee surgeries, and I am a self-proclaimed animal lover. I am a member of my school's television program known as PCTV and produce countless different kinds of media for our news broadcasts. I am also the president of our sports broadcasting program PCTV Sports, which makes me responsible for producing and directing all of the live broadcasts of sports and other events around my school. Being a shy and naturally anxious person, broadcast journalism is a field I never imagined I would find myself. But, PCTV has allowed me to break out of my shell and find a group of people that love the exact same things as I do. PCTV has allowed me to find my true passion in life, that passion being for media and journalism. To me, there is no better feeling than seeing a finished piece of content that you can share with others. I truly believe that media and journalism have the power to change the world, and I hope to see that belief to be true as I enter college and my future career.
