Ashley Wood

My name is Ashley Wood and I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. My major is Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcasting and a double minor in Public Relations and Journalism. I consider myself a hard working person and love the challenge of getting to learn new things. My goals after college is to receive a job in sports communication. I want to become a sports reporter or anchor and/or become a sports writer. I would like to work for The Odyssey because I love to talk and write about sports and this would be a great oppuntity to achieve that goal. In addition, working for The Odyssey will help me in the future by making my writing stronger and be able to express why love of sports to the world.
