Amanda Rivas

I'm currently a full time student, living on campus at my university. I leave at home my mother, brother and dog. I've always been into music and art, and have a deep fascination with everything medical. Occupational Therapy is going to allow me to be interacting with children in a hospital setting, while still being able to make my own hours to accommodate a family (in the future). I think working for the Odyssey will be a great way to channel my creativity that I may not be able to express in the rush of day to day life. It will allow me to sit down and center my thoughts, and share my experiences and life with others. I've had a diverse set of events thrown my way since I was young and I think there are a lot of other people out there who can relate. I would like to make a difference, even if it's just for one person and I think the Odyssey is the perfect way to do that.
