Alexis Dymek

Hey there! My name is Alexis Dymek. I am currently studying Mass Communications and loving every moment of it.

I love to travel though— I haven't been to many places, I hope to accomplish seeing the whole world one day. Colorado is my home, and I couldn’t be more thankful to live in such a beautiful place like this. Although I fall in love with almost every state I have traveled to, there is nothing quite like taking a trip to the Rocky Mountains and appreciating the wildlife and nature around me.

I geek out when it comes to horror flicks. Especially, when some of my favorite TV shows appear on Netflix and allow me to binge watch as much as I want! Here are just a few of my favorites: AMC’s The Walking Dead, A&E’s Bates Motel, FX’s American Horror Story, and Fox’s The Following. Call me crazy, but it must have to do with the fact that I was born an October baby.

There are three things in life that me the most to me and that is my family, friends, and food. Nothing like gathering around the dinner table with the ones you love! My fuzzy family is also very important to me! Let me just say, my cats' names say it all. Max exceeds the size of Garfield and Mini still looks like a kitten.

It such an honor to be writing for Odyssey, and I am more than delighted to share my life, thoughts, and ideas with the world!
