Alexis Anderson

As a science major, I have few creative outlets. However, apart from academics I'm interested in art, music, and culture, which are often suppressed by the nature of science. Being a part of The Odyssey allows me to temporarily leave behind the logic and systematic analyses of the sciences, and to find a voice, speaking about the things that interest me. I've loved writing since I was a kid, and now the opportunity arises to bring important issues or interesting topics to the forefront in my community, and it must be capitalized on.
