A Southern girl raised by Irish New Yorkers, I learned to follow three main attitudes growing up: be positive, like my Irish ancestors, be driven, like my New York relatives, and be polite, like my Southern neighbors. Though kind of obvious, those ideals have been vital to who I am. I love to write, so a journalism major has always been in my sights, and I picked up a Linguistics double major because language, in and of itself, fascinates me. For my career, I hope to eventually work for a major lifestyle publication, immersing myself in the arts and culture of wherever I'm based. Before I get there, though, I want to tour the world with an Irish dance show, such as Riverdance or Lord of the Dance, to round out my decade-long dance career. Until then, you'll find me frolicking around Atlanta, LA, or London in search of a damn-good slice of pizza. Other than that, I hate spicy food, live for Braves baseball, and have an addiction to Shonda Rhimes TV shows.
