A lot of college-aged people support Bernie Sanders and I want to ask them a few questions about Bernie:
How can Bernie possibly raise minimum wage to $15?
- Money does not grow on trees and it is absolutely ludicrous that he thinks that he can raise minimum wage with the United States' current financial situation.
Why is socialism appealing?
- Socialism is not appealing at all. China is socialist. Socialism stemmed from Marxism. Marxism is communism, so you’re supporting an out branch of communism by supporting Bernie.
Why should the wealthy be singled out by Bernie?
- Marginalizing the wealthy is just as bad as marginalizing the poor, how is it different?
Shouldn’t our future president try to mend the gap between Republicans and Democrats?
- Bernie is so extreme that his plans would only further split the parties in D.C. and he would probably lose support of some Democrats.
Shouldn’t our future president be well spoken?
- Bernie does not do well in debates which foreshadows poor performance in the White House. Our future president should be eloquent.
How is free college even plausible?
- Literally an insane idea to even consider possible in the United States.
