Don't get me wrong, we all value a show's premise and plot very much. But these characters definitely have a way of making us even more invested in what's going to happen next, specifically for them.
1. Lip Gallagher- "Shameless" (US)
He's a smart ass and a bad boy all at the same time while still always looking after his dysfunctional family. What more can this man do? Oh, maybe have a stable relationship for once. No? It's okay. We still love you Lip.
2. Jon Snow/Robb Stark/Khal Drogo- "Game of Thrones"
GoT should really win an award for having the most story lines in any show in the world, while still getting us way too attached to everyone in them. To be honest, many of us have still not completely recovered from what these characters went through.
3. Chuck Bass - "Gossip Girl"
If any other person replied to a question with their name, they would be roasted immediately. Yet somehow with Chuck Bass it works. Every. Damn. Time.
4. Cooke - "Skins" (UK)
Cooke was one of the favorites of the second cycle of this series. In fact he was such a favorite that they even brought him back for his own season at the end. He's way too out of control, way too into Effy, and anyone who watches the 3rd and 4th seasons knows he's really not a bad guy.
5. Jess Mariano - "Gilmore Girls"
From Dean to Jess to Logan, Jess always holds a special place in all of our hearts in this beloved show. Many loved them together--some even saw them as soul mates--while some didn't as much. Despite the controversy, this angsty bad boy did have a way with making us interested in him and Rory so much in this series.
6. Steve Harrington - "Stranger Things"
After watching the full season, most of us probably felt like our attitude towards Steve was like a rollercoaster, yet by the end, we still love him and his voluminous 80's hair.
7. Every Evan Peters' character - "American Horror Story"
If you could call any TV actor versatile, it is Evan Peters. Every season he manages to make us care and fall in love with whatever brand new character he is designated to play in this anthology series.
8. Jesse Pinkman - "Breaking Bad"
What else is there to say other than anything that comes out of Jesse's mouth is pure genius.
9. Jordan Catalano - "My So Called Life"
You love him. You hate him. After the one season of this cult tv show, the one thing you really know is no guy can rock a choker like Jared Leto could in the 90's.
10. Jack Pearson - "This Is Us"
After the first season, we all wished to have someone look at us the way Jack looks at Rebecca.
11. Damon Salvatore - "The Vampire Diaries"
Some people argue that Damon's and Elena's relationship was pure lust while Stefan's and her's was love, but with what he's been through in this show, you really can't rule him out. And there's always the debate for Team Stefan and Team Damon. But i mean... c'mon. Look. At. Him.
12. Brandon Walsh/Dylan McKay - "Beverly Hills 90210"
While the new installment of this series has many viable choices, Brandon and Dylan were definitely the duo that stole everyone's hearts in the 80's. Or if you're like me, you were obsessed with this show when you were only 12.
13. Seth Cohen - "The O.C."
Forever obsessing over Seth & Summer for all of TV couple eternity. Seth is probably one of the dorkiest yet most lovable characters on any show.
14. Matt Saracen/Tim Riggins - "Friday Night Lights"
You are just lying if you didn't absolutely love both of these guys while watching FNL. While on opposite ends of the spectrum they always tend to put the needs of others before themselves.
