Transfers all have challenges their first year at another college, no matter why they transferred, or where they transferred from. These are 10 things that transfers feel their first year at their new college.

1. When you're so done with the whole orientation weekend

I just can't deal with 4 sessions about how to study in college

2. You feel like a freshman again

Where are my classes? Why is this campus so big?

3. The feeling you get when you're asked if you are a freshman

No, no I am not, I am NOT one of those people.

4. The feeling you get when you can't decide who your roommate is going to be

Please let them be cool, please!!!

5. The feeling you get when you love your new roommate

Thank the heavens above they were cool.

6. The feeling you get when you meet another transfer

Wait, there is someone who understands my inner turmoil and understands what I'm going through??

7. The feeling you have when you have to take a freshman course

I'm surrounded by small children, I shouldn't be in this course!!

8. The feeling you get when a freshman in said freshmen course asks a million questions

Person in the front, there is a strict 5 question per hour rule, and you just demolished that! Did you seriously just ask about the homework that was assigned for today, that the teacher forgot about?

9. The feeling you get when you go to a new student gathering just for the free food

Oh there is a zip line? Cool! Cute boys? Cool Free College swag? That's cool... PIZZA!!!

10. When you miss your friends from your old college

Its especially tough when your best friend now lives over 8 hours away, and you will probably never see them again.

11. When you step foot into the Registrar's office for any reason

What do you mean its going to take me an extra semester to graduate?? But last time I was in here you said I could graduate on time??

12.When you get to college and have no friends

Last semester I had a social life.... now my social life is dead.

13. When you find that person who has potential to become your new best friend

I love you, so love me back? No? Well, ok I guess...

14. When you eat meals alone

How many social interactions have I had this week you ask? Only about 3, and one of them was a mandatory group project.

Transferring is a struggle for anyone, and you don't necessarily fit into the role of a "normal college student." But no matter the struggles, whether we had a great year, or a not so great year, we love our school and are glad we transferred.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
