Dear Dad,

Let me start by saying that you deserve more than one day to be appreciated for all your hard work. It's not easy raising two daughters, but you've always worked hard for me and my sister. You've always made sure that we were taken care of, safe, and that we knew that we were loved. You took a job that you didn't think you would have for this long, and you stuck with it all these years in order to provide for your family. No matter what, you always put your family first. Because of that, you deserve more than just one day of appreciation.

You've always been there for me, whether it's during the high moments or low moments of my life. You may not always have advice for me, but what matters is that you listen. You always help guide me in the right direction, even when you're miles away while I'm at school. When I am at school, I always know that you're just a text or a phone call away.

You've raised me to be a smart, strong, and independent woman. I honestly have no idea where I would be if I didn't have you in my life. I have a good head on my shoulders, because of you.

I'm so blessed to have you as my father, and I am reminded of how blessed I am every day.
