Bad Hair Cut Gif

I dread getting my hair cut. I don't only dread it because of the hair horror stories I have heard, but the bad experiences I have had in my own life as well. I hate get my haircut so much that I rarely get it done. When I do decide to go get it done, it's only after my mother's hardpressed convincing. "It's too long" she'll tell me; usually, she's right. Here are all the thoughts that go through my mind, and probably yours, when I go in and get my yearly haircut.

You usually walk into the hair salon with the mindset of "don't touch me."

Once you meet the hairdresser and start talking to him or her, you decide to trust them and hope for the best.

When he or she takes you to the hair washing station and massages your head with shampoo, your face looks a little something like this.

Somewhere in the middle of the shampoo head massage, you begin to worry about all the things that could go wrong.

Then the wash is done and you are brought to the chair for the true test. You tell yourself it's going to be okay, but you also think "OH MY GOD!"

Then, they get the scissors out and make the first cut.

After all the cutting is done, the hairdresser whips out the blowdryer and you look like this.

When your hair is all dry and done being styled, they turn your chair around and you see the finished product.

When your all done paying and you leave the salon looking fresh, you're mom says "That wasn't so bad, was it?" You flip your new hair, and reply "I guess not..." knowing she was right.

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
