Let's be honest, LA doesn't get very cold or very hot. We have a range of about 50 to 85 degrees here and we love it. Sometimes, when we get to the edge of our little comfort zone, it can cause a lot of excitement. With spring around the corner, we're bound to get a few heat waves coming our way. At first, it's the best thing we can imagine, but soon enough, our delicate LA bodies simply can't take it.
We see the weather forecasted at 80 and sunny and we are so excited.
We can't wait to break out the shorts and head to the beach.
But soon, 80 becomes 90 and we get a little upset.
Something you loved quickly becomes something you hate.
The walk to class is unbearable.
Actually, anytime we go outside it's pretty awful.
To solve that problem, we just stay indoors.
We ignore all responsibilities (and workout plans) to find ways to stay cool.
Everyone starts getting on your nerves.
They want you to “get out and enjoy the sunshine."
Because somehow they keep happy and beautiful during this tragedy.
While you are well... not.
Any more time in the heat will cause you serious emotional damage.
You pray and pray that a cool breeze will come your way.
Just when you think you can't take it anymore, it cools back down.
We all hate the heat when it's here but pray for it when it's gone. No matter how #blessed we are with our weather, we will never be satisfied.
