There are so many things that happen in the city
So many people who would like to be shown pity
During the day, they push carts and search for cans in a dumpster
But at night people look at them and think that they are some evil type of monster
There's so much work to be done in a brightly lit town with many opportunities
But who is actually going to take the time out to see what it takes to have a little bit of unity
Schools aren't as full, jobs are in high demand, and jail cells are over capacitated
One could only stop and think that this city is full of hatred
Many don't talk about the city that has been forgotten
Because of the evil and the lessons that it has taught them
But deep down, through all the misery and pain
There's always going to be the forgotten city that wishes to only not be remembered in vain
