The Character of a Man.

"The biggest coward is a man who awakens a woman's love without the intention of loving her." – Bob Marley

We live in a world where it is always the women's blame. We women constantly soul search, buying every lifestyle/relationship book on the market, and attending conferences on how to be a better you. We do all this work, for a man that isn't interested. Don't you know…men are safety covered with a blanket, "boys will be boys, and men will be men", that shelters them from any responsibility when is comes to being accountable for their behavior. We women pacify that party.

It kills me how a man can in one sentence manipulate a woman to believing he is interested only to call her stupid for believing in the next. Or the second nature line we have all heard way more than once…" I tired; it didn't work." Ladies…wake up! Why do we deal with these lazy conversations and accept the scraps they throw us to stay interested?

It is not the women's responsibility to develop a man's moral character that's an inside job between a man and His Maker!!!! And until then he will ruin every woman he comes across.

By any means necessary rescue him, protect him, submit to him, cover him, support him, and embrace him. Embrace his growth or lack thereof. Embrace his soul or lack thereof. Support his struggle yet repress your own. As women we shouldn't have pain. But oh, do we bleed. We bleed from the gaping wound that refuses to heal from the gash left from where a man cut you. For every woman that has been deceived. For every woman that was led on. For every woman that their heart rips every time the painful memories of rejection flashes. I am sorry.

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
