Happy Holidays!
As a junior in college and as a very broke person, when I am asked what I want for Christmas, it's honestly pretty practical. The things I want and the things I need are both very similar and are usually very practical. That isn't to say I don't have my minor wants like any other college aged female, but I do have priorities. If your stuck on what to get the non-materialistic girl in your life, this may be of help to you.
1. SOCKS
I literally can never have too many socks. Socks are a girls best friend, the can be cute and fashionable, but they are always practical for when it starts getting cold out.
2. Gloves, Hats, and Scarves
More practical items that help keep you warm during the winter season. You can't have too many of any of these. They can come in handy, and I firmly believe every person should have a backup pair in their car for an emergency.
3. Car Seat Warmer
This was the BEST gift I ever received (next to my car safety emergency kit.) This is perfect for if your person has an older car that doesn't have self heating seats. No one likes a cold tooshy.
4. Food Gift Cards
There is nothing better than eating for you didn't pay for. Enough said.
5. A Bucket of Cleaning Supplies
This stuff is mad expensive and majorly needed! A box with rubber gloves, Clorox bleach, and other cleaning essentials is sure to bring a smile to my face.
6. New Bedding
This is also very expensive for us and soo needed. Having an extra pair of sheets is a godsend when you don't have time to clean yours that night when you really need them clean.
7. A Sentimental Gift
We are non-materialistic. All of my favorite gifts have been those that were homemade, like a picture of a close friend and I in a frame, or even a hand-cut snowflake with a cute quote. The holidays aren't supposed to be about getting things, but remembering those around us are the true gifts in our lives.
