We all have our own little rituals that pick us up after a bad day. Whether it's going to work out, baking cookies, or binge-watching Netflix, we all have a way of coping. Sometimes, all it takes is a conversation with your best friend to make all things right in the world. But sometimes, talking to "your people" isn't an option. When you're having a rough day and need to relax, and all options have run out, here are a few suggestions to turn that frown upside down. (Spoiler: all my suggestions deal with babies.)
When your day leaves a sour taste in your mouth.
When nothing amuses you.
When yelling is the only option.
When you find that your life is a joke.
When crying is the only option.
When life is just too startling.
But hey, life is what it is. Might as well enjoy all the good things.
