7. Pumpkin Carving
Pumpkins, probably the most common symbol of fall, are the first obstacles you must tackle this season; so get out your knives and start carving. Don’t be afraid to get creative and try out a scary face, your Greek affiliation’s symbol, or the W&L trident.
6. Fall football

5. Bundle Up
As the temperature drops, it’s time to put away the summer wardrobe and bring out the sweaters and jackets. This fall everything from chokers to schoolgirl jumpers are back in style, but those warm turtleneck sweaters and over-the-knee boots will always be a favorite to stay warm.
4. Cider and Sweets
Fall foods are definitely one of the best things that come with fall. There is simply nothing like warm apple cider on a chilly day followed by a huge piece of apple pie!
3. Lexington Ghost Tour
Mark and Sherry Cline’s “Haunting Tales” are one of Lexington’s spookiest attractions this fall. This ghost tour allows you to see what really occurs at the burial place of Stonewall Jackson.
2. Horror Movies
If you’re looking to be scared this fall, check out Ouija: Origin of Evil, Blair Witch, or Don’t Breathe.Ouiga offers a scare when a merciless spirit overtakes the youngest daughter of a widowed mother. If you’d prefer to be frightened by watching a man search for his missing sister through the Black Hills Forest accompanied by a menacing presence then check out Blair Witch. Or if watching a group of friends break into the house of a wealthy blind man is your scare of choice, watch Don’t Breathe.

Halloween, everyone’s favorite part of fall, has come and gone but that means its already time to start thinking of next years costume! If you’re looking for a spooky way to dress up as a couple, try going as the Joker and Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad. Looking for a cuter costume? Ladies get out your fangs and guys get our your suspenders because vampires and fire-fighters are fun costume choices this fall. Looking for a hilarious outfit? Ladies get out your jumpsuits and guys get our your clown suits because convicts and clowns are the way to have a laugh this Halloween.
