The 10 Crushes From Your Childhood

If you were not in love with these boys, you clearly did not watch the right TV growing up. From Disney Channel shows to Nickelodeon to movies, these boys stole the hearts of every girl out there, myself included. These are the 10 crushes from your childhood:

1. Ethan Craft:

From Lizzie McGuire, Ethan was the cute boy that gave you even more incentive to aspire to be just like Lizzie, as if there was not enough already. If you were more of a Gordo kind of girl, I'm sorry.

2. Cory Matthews:

Cory from Boy Meets World was the quirky curly haired boy whose love for Topanga made you fall in love with him. If you thought you could steal him away from her even while you were wearing lime green gauchos, don't worry; you were not alone.

3. Phil Diffy:

Did anybody else used to pretend they too would have a boy come from the future and sweep them off their feet? No? Yeah me neither.

4. Zack and Cody:

Let me just start with saying thank you to whoever at Disney decided Suite Life on Deck should be created so we could get more time to fall for these twins. I personally was team Zack, but since they look exactly alike, if you were team Cody, I don't judge you.

5. Jesse Katsopolis:

Jesse was the older man that you felt slightly awkward for thinking was so cute when you were watching Full House at nine years old. And if you did not cry during the wedding scene, you simply do not have a heart.

6. Harvey Kinkle:

You were convinced that boys in your high school would be as cute and charming as Harvey, because you watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch through middle school. Were you just as disappointed as I was?

7. Gabe from Little Manhattan:

First of all, let me just start this out with the disclaimer that Josh Hutcherson will be and was attractive at any age. Still looking for a boy whose butt I can kick in Karate class.

8. Benjamin Rodriquez:

If you liked bad boys, Benjamin from the Sandlot was for you. Just look at him. That is all.

9. Zack Siler:

As if Freddie Prinze Jr. was not hot enough now, he was even cuter in She's All That. Dimples? Check. Amazing smile? Check. Where do I sign?

10. Logan Reese:

Lastly for those of us who liked a**holes from a very early age: Logan from Zoey 101. Back when muscle tanks meant you pulled, even though he was not the brightest bulb, it was pretty easy to have a crush on this one.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
