A Thank You Letter To My BFF's

Dearest best friends,

I love you people more than words can describe, but I figured I'd write this to try and explain just how much I appreciate you. You are without a doubt my bridesmaids, the future godmothers to my children, and my friends for life.

You people are my people. I trust you with my entire life. You're never afraid to tell me how it is and call things like you see them. You have my back through thick and thin.

You tolerate my constant dramatics and mental break downs. Whenever I, or anyone else, is having a problem, you're always there to just listen to complaining and whining. I appreciate that an immense amount because I know none of you are truly emotional people, but you try to be just for me.

You give the best advice, whether it be suggesting a bomb restaurant for dinner or helping me with my boy problems. I can always count on you to focus your full attention on my problems and help me work through them until I feel better.

You let me borrow all your clothes. I know that I always have another closet handy whenever I need it; so thank you for that.

I'm never bored when we're together. We can be sitting on the couch in one of our houses or apartments and I won't even realize because we can still have fun regardless of the situation.

You always have my back. Whenever I'm in trouble or whenever I need someone to look out for me, I know I have you standing right behind me.

Among these reasons, there are plenty of others explaining why I am thankful, but I feel like I should keep this relatively short or else I'll ramble on for hours. In general, thank you for all you to do love and support me.

You'll be my best friends today, tomorrow and forever.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer. And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:
