2. There is absolutely no hazing, ever.
Hazing is not tolerated in the fraternity. If there are ever any accounts of hazing, they are taken very seriously and taken care of in the appropriate manner.
3. Everyone likes to help other people.
Everyone joined the fraternity for a reason: they like to help others. The people who join APO want to make an impact on the community around them and desire to enrich the lives of the people they help.
4. You learn how to serve the community around you.
Being part of Alpha Phi Omega, you discover a variety of different ways you can help the community. From gardening, to dog-walking, to chaperoning galas, there are a multitude of places where you can dedicate your service.

If a service site has open spots, then you can be for sure there will be APO bros at the event. Not only for service, but any on-campus event, such as Relay for Life, Dance Marathon, etc. There will be APO bros attending. You will never have to help others by yourself.

After becoming an Alpha Phi Omega, your brothers accept you no matter what. No one is turned down from rushing Alpha Phi Omega and all the brothers you meet will be like a family away from home.
