Which Spring Break Babe Are You?

Who's who?

Which Spring Break Babe Are You?

This Spring Break which number are you??

1. The always down for whatever.

She's the chill girl that's down for whatever plans that day. Whether she's sipping on a fruity drink on the beach or out with her friends, she's always a good time and fun to be around. You won't ever have to worry about her being upset when plans change.

2. The Mom

You'll probably find her sober driving you home from a fraternity party that night, picking you up food, or holding your hair when you get sick. She'll be the first one you call when you need help on the trip because she will always be there making sure everyone is taken care of and safe. She probably is the only one who remembers to pack literally everything. She'll remind you of everything you did when you forget. Much love to all the 'moms' of their spring break group, you hold everything together, so thank you.

3. The vampire turned lobster, real quick.

You'll probably find this girl under an umbrella lathering on her fifth coat of sunscreen and adjusting her big hat and glasses. Next time you look, she's the color of cherry red lipstick.

4. The Shacker

"Can anyone come pick me up from *fraternity name*?" She'll probably have stayed the night at the same fraternity she spent the entire day at. Be prepared to listen to her wild stories and have a change of clothes with you if you pick her up.

5. The "I can't wait to be Old Row Official"

This is every standards worst nightmare. She's fully prepared to become Old Row Official no matter what it takes. She's followed their account for months planning just how she'll get on it.

6. The DJ

This girl always has the aux. Her playlist keeps the life of the party going.

7. The social media star

Ms. Social Media will have every sorority or beach pose down to science. She knows exactly when and where she'll be taking each picture and what to hashtag them. She's the one you send your pictures to for editing and filtering and captioning.

8. The nightlife

You probably won't see her much during the day, maybe sleeping, but she'll be the one dancing on the tables by the end of the night.

9. The "I haven't had that many drinks" girl

She swears she's only had two, but you know she hasn't not had a drink her hand in hours.

10. The "she was on spring break?"

That one girl who always appears in pictures and that you remember seeing the first and last day, but do not remember seeing her throughout the week. She's the wallflower there to enjoy and observe the rest of the group. She can spend time alone or with friends and be content.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
