The End Of The 2nd Semester, As Told By Queer Eye

Why does the last month of the second semester feel like it's in slow motion?

This year has gone super slow and super fast at the same time. But now that you're creeping up on summer and the end of the second semester, you probably feel like life is in slow motion. This time in college hurts everybody, from freshmen to seniors. So many things are happening at once... yet, don't worry. You'll get through it. At this time, however, check out all of your struggles with help from the Fab Five of Queer Eye.

1. Everything's fine, right?

Karamo and Tan = your stress, anxiety, and thoughts about the next couple of weeks. Sleep is for the weak (you'll get some Zs when summer comes).

3. Refusing to see your grades.

You probably avoid BlackBoard or Canvas like the plague. If you don't see those Cs and Ds, then they don't exist, right?

4. Plotting to raise your grades.

Do whatcha gotta do. If that means crying in front of your professor or begging for tons of extra credit, then go ahead and try.

5. All-nighters.

It's something that no one wants, but everyone will have to go through. Pack some snacks, a pillow, and your dignity.

6. Eating literal garbage.

Antoni won't be happy when he finds out you've only been eating ramen, eggs, and cheetos. Who has time to cook and who has money to eat out?

7. Your empty wallet.

No money for food, shopping, alcohol, or a new life. Sorry, you're stuck on campus until May.

8. Finals.

Finals suck, whether it's an exam or a 10-page paper. Just try to push through it, even if you don't remember half of the topics covered.

9. The internship craze.

Pictured above: you partying because you got the internship you applied for. Also pictured above: you drinking the pain away after getting denied by literally every single one you applied for. Don't worry, everything happens for a reason (so my mom says).

10. Preparing for move out.

Moving out is a whole process that everyone wants to skip. Just go slow, pack up neatly, and donate/throw out whatever you don't need.

11. Where is summer?

Though it seems like it's months away, you'll get summer soon. Just sit back and try to relax. Jon Snow did say Summer's coming ... wait. Never mind, but seriously you'll be fine.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
