Darkwood Manor

Luray, Virginia is home to one of the most terrifying locations in haunted house history. Built in 1880, Darkwood Manor has seen the deaths of both Abigail Darkwood in 1940 as well as Dr. Simon Ghoulsby in 1954. Although it sat empty for 48 years, the house has now been reopened for guests to explore. Haunted Evenings

The Ashland Berry Farm hosts 4 different haunts and each is scarier than the last. Known as one of the country’s top ten haunted attractions, Nightmare Mansion is located in Norfolk, Virginia. Home to the late Dr. Morgan and his wife Edmona, this house is said to be as alive as its previous inhabitants. Popular among paranormal investigators, this house has sat abandoned for over 100 years. Today, this horror house is open to the public where visitors can walk, run, crawl or possibly even get dragged down it’s dark hallways.
