Police Officer Patrick Zamarripa

Dallas Police Department, Texas

Officer Zamarripa was a US Navy Veteran and served with the DPD for 5 years. Zamarripa was 32 years old and is survived by his wife, 2-year-old daughter, and stepson.

Senior Corporal Lorne Ahrens

Dallas Police Department, Texas

Senior Corporal Lorne Ahrens served with the DPD for 14 years and was 48 years old.

Sergeant Michael Smith

Dallas Police Department, Texas

Sergeant Smith was 55 years old, a US Army Veteran, and served with the DPD for 27 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Police Officer Michael Krol

Dallas Police Department, Texas

Officer Krol was 40 years old and served in law enforcement for a total of thirteen years. He served with the DPD for nine years and previously served with the Wayne County, Michigan, Sheriff's Office for four years.

Police Officer Brent Thompson

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police Department, Texas

Officer Thompson was a 43 year old U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He served with the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police Department for nine years. He is survived by his daughter, granddaughter, and wife. His wife also serves as an officer with the DART Police.
