10 Reasons Reuniting With Your Long-Distance Best Friend From Home Rocks
Mikhayla Rae Stover

College is absolutely a wonderful thing that continues to intercept the lives of thousands of people every year, and I am one of those people. Except college is also home to some of the best people I know. The one difference between college and home is that college will never have my high school/home best friend/platonic soulmate. Honestly, no one can ever really beat the person who went through the phase of life that is high school with you, and I wouldn't trade the people for anything. Especially since this kid is still my best friend. (Shout out for sticking around for me continuously being strange.)

1. The first reason reuniting with your long distance best friend rocks is because you get hugged like you haven't seen each other in years.

Personally, I'm always here for a fantastic hug.

2. You get to catch up like you don't already knowing everything that's happened in each other's lives.

I mean really did you call anyone else when something new happened?

3. You get to see each other's pets.

They're just as much your pets as your best friends.

4. Mall crawl and thrifting with the best friend.

I mean is there anyone better to go with?

5. Did I mention the hugs?

6. You get car rides with the windows down, the music loud with them.

It's just not the same if their feet aren't on the dashboard and you can't hear yourself talk.

7. You have a go to movie buddy.

And that means you can stop bugging your roommate to do everything with you.

8. You get to go on all the adventures you talked about during the school year.

There's obviously so many selfies to be taken.

9. They probably have presents for you.

Especially if they tend to pick up knick knacks like I do.

10. And last but not least you have the person who understands you best within (hopefully) five miles of you.

There's nothing better in the world than reuniting with your long distance best friend from home because frankly life is weird without them in it. I'm always super grateful to have my best friend, and I certainly wouldn't change a thing about our relationship even if half of it is over at least five hours of distance. The distance doesn't matter when you understand each other on a fundamental level more than simple words and comments. Understanding someone with a look or even just a touch is beyond description.Thank you, summer!

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
