When starting my freshmen year of college, little did I know that the meaning of home was about to completely change. Home was no longer the place where I came to after school. Home was no longer the place where I just slept. Home was no longer the place where my mom cooked homemade meals. Home had a completely different meaning attached to it.
Coming back for summer vacation made me miss my other home; I'm sure anyone who goes to Penn State can relate. Here are just a few things that I miss about good ol' State College:
1. Buying a burrito bowl at Chipotle and instantly regretting it
2. Being able to eat just about anything
3. Beautiful campus runs (trying not to embarrass yourself)
5. Never ending school pride
6. Penn State Dance Marathon (THON)
6. Never being alone
7. Dancing with your friends until 3 a.m.
8. Sleeping instead of doing homework
9. Running to class (whoever said you can get anywhere in 15 minutes is a liar)
10. Daylonging
11. Hockey Valley
12. Getting ice cream from Berkey Creameryin 20 degree weather (it's that good)
13. Wings Over (no explanation needed)
14. Climbing Mount Nittany
15. Sitting on the Old Main Lawn
16. Fratland
