Outrageous Or Genius?
FilthyFrank

If you spend a considerable amount of time on Youtube, then you most likely have came across the channel known as TVFilthyFrank.

As of May 26, 2016, the infamous channel, known mostly for FilthyFrank's crude humor, currently stands 2,401,208 subscribers. The channel itself was first started in January 2013. If you're unaware of the content which can be found on the channel, TVFilthyFrank, it can be best described as outrageous, inappropriate and almost inhumane. On the channel, there's always a series of characters seen and the two most popular characters are as follows:

Frank (Papa Franku):

Frank, or as he's best known as, FilthyFrank is the main star of the show. Frank is most known for his racist, outrageous remarks, and for his crude outlook on life. Mostly, the jokes Frank uses references depression as well as homophobia. He coins the name 'FilthyFrank' for, well, how filthy he actually is.

Pink Guy:

Besides Frank, Pink Guy is the most recognizable and most used character on the show. Pink Guy is unable to actually speak, whenever he does it's mostly screams and inaudible words (despite a few phrases not appropriate for this article) followed by the term, 'boss.' The term 'boss' is always used in reference to Frank. The only time Pink Guy can actually speak is when he's rapping, which is seen throughout a few videos where Pink Guy is cooking a random dish and rapping. These can be found here, and here. (these are not the best to play in a crowd of people)

Throughout the channel, there are multiple characters which appear, but Frank and Pink Guy are the most used.

Notably, the FilthyFrank Youtube channel is best known for the offensive humor that is used throughout most of the videos uploaded and usually their are videos mocking popular trends and other Youtube videos. Cases like this can be seen in videos where the character Frank reads off hate comments or even mocks internet users. Other times, the videos features Frank and the other characters doing things such as bathing in Ramen Noodles and giving language lessons so viewers can learn Japanese phrases.

While it's indisputable that the FilthyFrank channel is offensive and often times insensitive, many people are unaware of the point behind the characters whacky actions or the pure ignorance steaming from Frank's words and actions. The channel is a mockery of society and uses the offensive humor and the inhumane actions as a tool to display how ridiculous society is. The main character of the show, Frank, is an example of what no one should aim to be in society. He is an exaggerated form the worst part of people. All this is actually listed in the about section on the TVFilthyFrank Youtube channel. It can be seen here:

The creator behind the channel is George Miller, or as he's better known, Joji.

George is actually passionate for his music, which can be seen throughout the videos of Pink Guy rapping, which is George's voice. George plays all the characters on the TVFilthyFrank channel. There are actually videos on Youtube which display some of George's music outside the FilthyFrank Show, which can be found here.

There's no issue at all with not wanting to watch videos because they offend you, everyone is allowed to have the right to a choice in what they watch. However, if you're able to get beyond the crude humor and offensive content which can be found on the channel, I would suggest checking out a few of the videos on the channel. When you're at the point when you find yourself thinking, 'how can anyone like this?'

That's the point.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
